I’m not writing about a topic on the list on your website. I’m asking for some fight from you against the conservative bluster I see and hear so much of.
Now is a time for some powerful rhetoric from the progressives. If we are in the right, we need to stand up and defend the ideological ground upon which we stand. This is not just a battle of policy, it’s a battle of ideology.
Please put some energy into supporting our president and put some energy into EXPLAINING to the public and the press why we need 1-more revenue and a fair tax on wealth, 2-action on global warming, 3-environmental protections, 4-education, 5-prison reform.
There are plenty of issues that require your time and energy, but there is an ideological battle too, and the progressives need to stand up and fight. For an intelligent future, not a reactionary one.
